17/01 - Hi all, here is the Not News! The début album 'No News Is Good News' is finally taking shape, apologies for the wait. It's going to be a proper album for album lovers, not just a collection of songs or singles plus filler. I don't really care what current 'consumer trends' are - art exists for its own sake, in my view. And largely lost as it may be, building an album to be experienced as one thing is an art-form in its own right and one that I love. The reason it's taken me so long to get round to recording one is because doing this properly is no mean feat - especially when you are unsigned, independent and your own worst critic etc... but I'm finally excited about it! :) This album has been twenty years in the making and is as much a retrospective as it is current so it needs to be right. All will be revealed in due course... thanks for waiting! Remember: NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS !!!
